Young Deer 30 in 30 day 2

Deer 30 in 30 day 2

Well, this is day 2 of the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. I am wrestling already with feeling pressured to do the most perfect painting I know how, and felt rushed - if this were not a challenge I would go back and make changes, but I think it gets the general idea across. This little one - I would guess about a year old, was upset that I was parked near and photographing the animals on this very big ranch near Cle

Elum, WA. I think this is a Black Tailed deer. It is quite gray, with black markings on its ears, stomach, and tail. Fun, but tough in a rush.
