This photo is of an earlier painting - please see the painting of the same name in my works folder. This very tiny porcelain cup of pansies was on a counter in my local Peet's coffee shop in Seattle. I couldn't resist painting it. Wonderful things are around everywhere if you look for them. This painting is for sale on my Daily Paintworks site for starting bid of $40 or Buy it Now price of $60. One day in late February I saw this little bird fluffed out and hunkered down on a branch in the service berry tree in the back yard. He (or she) looked cold, but I know from its very fat appearance that its down coat was very warm. This is and 8"x8" unframed oil painting on canvas on birch wood panel.  If you enjoy this picture and would like to have it, you may buy it now for $60 or bid in my Daily Paintworks Auction, beginning at $40.  Just click on this link: THIS PICTURE HAS BEEN SOLD - SORRY, PLEASE CHECK MY SITE OFTEN FOR NEW WORK

This was an amazing sight. I was walking my Golden Retriever, Cooper, about Sunset last fall, when the bushes and ground began to look like a wonderful, rich tapestry of color. I just had to rush home and paint that beautiful bank along the dog park trail.  I hope you like this picture too. If so, you can buy it now  for $100 or in the auction with a beginning bid of $60.
